Angel’s Billabong
This place is one of the most Photographed places in Nusa Penida. Why? Surrounded by dramatic rock formations, and glassy waters that let you clearly see the patterns and texture underneath, makes this place one of a kind. If you want to feel magic, this place is where you need to head to. But a prerequisite for going here is to check when the tides are low, as it’s only during low tide that one can visit the place.

Broken Beach
A distance walk from Angel’s Billabong will take you to the beautiful ruins of what used to be a huge cave. Over years as nature ran its course, the roof of the cave eroded and collapsed and left behind a magnificent walled bay. Broken beach is one amongst the best places to see in Nusa Penida. Why? Because it is one of the most spectacular sights in the world.

Kelingking Beach viewpoint
The rock formation emerging out of the deep blue sea at the Kelingking beach viewpoint resembles like a T-rex .This put Kelingking beach viewpoint on every adventurous Instagramer’s go-to list. Apart from resembling a dinosaur, the viewpoint gives a splendid view of the sandy white Kelingking beach. You can walk on the spine of the T-rex at Kelingking Secret Point Beach till the edge of the cliff and watch the waves crash into the shore from up above. An interesting fact is when translated to English, the word Kelingking refers to the pinkie finger, due to the shape of the rock.

If getting down to the Kelingking Beach doesn’t give you an adrenaline rush then nothing can. To get to the beach itself in an amazing adventure, as you need to climb down a steep staircase down to the beach and it is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Because it’s so challenging to get to the beach the place is never crowded. Once you reach this pristine and untampered beach, you usually get the whole place to yourself. Hiking down to the Kelingking Beach is one of the most awesome things to do on Nusa Penida.

Atuh Beach and Rumah Pohon Treehouse
Surrounded by huge cliffs and striking rock formations, Atuh beach is one of the most scenic   white sand beaches. Near to Atuh beach is the Pulau Seribu view point, also popular amongst the tourist as the Thousand Island. Pulau Seribu view point is 10 minute downward climb away on a steep stairway. Like so many other places in Nusa penida, the Pulau Seribu Viewpoint has one of the most incredible and a unique view.  But what’s adventurous about this place? Well many bloggers and adventure enthusiasts vouch by the amazing experience of staying at a treehouse on top of a cliff and watching the sunrise!! The Tree House is perched on the mountain at Pulau Seribu viewpoint. Because pictures of this place spread like wild fire in social media, the place has become popular amongst the travelers. It must surely be the most thrilling way to spend a night in Nusa Penida. The best part is it isn’t expensive! What more could you ask for!?

Crystal Bay Beach
This beach is where you need to head to when you need to soothe your nerves after all that adventure. One of the best place to relax and lay back in Nusa Penida, the crystal bay beach with its lazy setting works like a balm on your adventure worn body. Picture your-tired-self laid in a hammock with coconut, surrounded by tall palm trees on one side and the amazingly blue waters of the beach on the other.   

Peguyangan Waterfall or Blue Stairs Nusa Penida
This place is more popular for the Blue stairway that takes you down to the waterfall and a sacred temple. A religious spot for the Balinese, the place is a mix of natural beauty and culture. It offers one of the most fantastic views of coastal cliffs and is a must visit place in Nusa Penida. And if you are lucky you will spot the magnificent Manta rays cruising in the ocean.   

Manta Bay
When in Nusa Penida, you must surely go snorkeling in the Manta Bay. Here you get the chance to go snorkeling and Scuba diving with the magnificent Manta rays. It is one of the most magical experiences Nusa Penida has to offer.

The waters of Nusa Penida have also been known to be graced by the giant Mola Mola itself! Mola Molas have been spotted in Nusa Penida in the months of July, August and September. Keep an eye out for this water monster when you are in Nusa Penida.
