Just think of it, for all those of you who live in the plains and non-snowy hilly regions, winters is your only chance to experience one of the most awe-inspiring natural phenomena – the snowfall. Are you already contemplating a trip to Switzerland or New Zealand? Well, you may keep your international travel plans for another time and occasion because there’re a plenty of snow destinations, right now, right here in India! All you gotta be geared up with is layers of woollens.

4. Nainital, on the Kumaon foothills, provides a magnificent view of the outer Himalayas. At an altitude of 2,084 metres above sea level, expect nothing less than the best. This is the perfect time of the year to view the slivery white Nanda Devi Peak.
