1.Sanjay Dhaba, Srinagar-Leh Highway
Location: 50kms from Leh on the Srinagar-Leh Highway
It is just a concrete shack turned into a small dhaba but a best place for hungry travellers. You must try the aaloo parantha and gobhi ki sabzi along with their signature cup of black tea here. Refreshes a tiring day of travel.
2. Karnal Haveli, G.T Road, Karnal, NH 1
Even though it is fancy, when it comes to highway and dhaba, you have to include this. It serves authentic Punjabi cuisine with a really good service. It has a small amusement park for kids and beautiful exterior and interior décor.

3. Tadka, Gajraula, NH 24
You have to stop by this place if you travel by NH24. It gives you a clean and lovely place, with colored tires turned into tables and seats! Upon that it serves delicious food at reasonable prices as well! Tandoori roti with dal, kadhi pakora and tandoori paratha are some of the must try dishes here.

4. Sharma Dhaba, Jaipur-Sikar Road
Sharma Dhaba serves you authentic veg Rajasthani food. They have a special bread known as Maava Naan and it is quite difficult to find because it is quite difficult to make!
With two dining areas to choose from, one off the road and other a backside garden, this dhaba will refresh your taste buds and your journey.

5. Ummiya Annapurna, Anand District Gujarat, NH 8
This dhaba is situated near the bypass connecting the new expressway in Gujarat. It is famous for serving the typical Kathiawad cuisine. The food is prepared over the traditional fire wood, thus enhancing the taste. Must-try items include lassan aaloo, besan gatta and sev tamatar with rotla.

6. Samaroh En Dees Dhaba, Bhomoraguri to Sonitpur
The dhaba serves authentic and tasty Assameese cuisine. It is a lovely place set up in brightly coloured bamboo and cane between green fields. This place wins every heart by its food, hospitality and the design of this place! The main dish of this place is Pigeon curry for non-vegetaians and Aloo pitika for the vegetarians.

7. Satara Highway Dhaba
Satara Dhaba, situated in NH 8, might be the only Dhaba in India that is run by transgenders. Great hospitality and mouth-watering food makes this dhaba a must-visit place. Kadak Chai and Capsicum Masala is amongst you must-have list.

8. Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba
Sukhdev dhaba is located in NH 1 and its not like your classic street dhaba. There are uniformed waiters serving you, good tables and chairs, tissues and AC as well. But the food over here makes it to the list of the best dhabas. Amritsari Kulcha, Aaloo Paratha, Mix Paratha, Lassi and sweet milky tea is what you must order alongwith the rest.

9. The Kinara Village Dhaba
The Kinara dhaba is quite popular amongst the Mumbaikars. It is Situated on the Mumbai-Pune Highway, in Lonavala. People just travel till here to have a refreshing day spent in having good food. They have Indian, Tandoori, and Chinese cuisine as well.

10. Dara’s Dhabha
