Seminyak has two lovely beaches the Seminyak beach and the Petitenget Beach. You could try scuba diving here or a gentle horse ride along the Seminyak beach.
Kuta is arguably Bali’s most popular beach destination. Located on the west coast of Bali, it is close to the airport and the other popular destinations like Seminyak and Legian.
Kuta was a quaint fishing village once upon a time but now has transformed in to a busy tourist destination where you could run in to the occasional traffic snarls as well. Lively and bustling, Kuta is infamous for being booked out all through the peak season. This could be a great option post the peak season, like if you are heading to Bali in January.
You could go scuba diving in Kuta too, which is a good spot to see Manta Rays. You could also try the yoga and meditation classes here or the spa to wind down and get in to your vacation groove.
Nusa Dua is the more modern of the tourist locations with better planning and world class facilities and an 18-hole golf course to boot. It is what we could call “an all-inclusive” beach destination. The beach itself has long white sand stretches, good deep water where you could swim too.
Nusa Dua also boasts of some great resorts and shopping locations. The great beaches make it ideal for honeymooners as well as families. Nusa Dua has great water sports options and also some world class spas.
Ubud is the cultural capital of Bali and thus is an absolute must on your Bali Holiday package. Nestled between cool mountains, it is home to one of the royal families. It has an arts and crafts centre where you can visit to see how all the handicrafts are made, as well as, buy them.
There are tons of museums and temples, including the famous Goa Gajah temple, so you can dive deep in to the history and heritage of this beautiful island. If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you could cycle through the bamboo forest or go white water rafting on the Ayung River.
